This Harley-Davidson commercial produced in Germany won Advertising Cannes Festival “Lions Young Director Award” for Best Web Film on behalf of director Andreas Bruns. In 2 1/2 minutes, the film is telling the story of a white collar executive who strives to reconnect with his inner child. Working late, staring at office building bleak lights, the salaryman fantasizes of having a less boring life, of recapturing his child innocence and freedom. No worry, this man is going to find his way out because whatever is in you is out there. Just ride A Harley in the open space… A good commercial for a good strategy?

I understand the award for the artistic value (big budget, too.) But it’s too intellectual and I am not sure it will convince many.
No Teutuls, no organized crime, no 30 inch front wheels.
well done on many levels
I have to admit it’s pretty good.
My inner child saw a panhead in 1959 (blue and white).
That’s how I feel when I have to drive my car and other bikes go by. I keep a spare jacket in the trunk for burning purposes.
I think its a great video. It resonates well with me. It’s pretty much why I’m riding. I especially like the last scene where they show him riding down a desert highway. I, too, like to ride in solitude.
That was what excellent looks like.
