Formula One Lewis Hamilton’s Limited Edition MV Augusta

hamilton1Like many other Formula One racers, triple world champion (2008, 2014 & 2015) Lewis Hamilton loves motorcycles and often rides one from his hotel to the racing track. He partnered with Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Augusta to co-design the Dragster RR LH44, a limited run of 244 bikes that are covered with references to 44, his Formula One race car number.

hamilton2hamilton3For the $26,144 you’ll need to own one, you get a 800cc three-cylinder engine cranking out 140 hp at 13,100rpm, a bodywork made from carbon fiber, a ride-by-wire throttle control with multiple throttle maps and integrated traction control (with eight settings!) helping keep things under control at the limit. Want to order one for Christmas? Go To MV Augusta RR LH44.

Tubeless spoked rims! And I can only imagine the sound a three cylinders at 13,000RPM!!

That price actually seems more than reasonable for a work of art that you can ride the hell out of. With such a limited run I can see these going up in value.

That looks like fun, well done and like pokergolf420 said, although, still a lot of cash, it seems to be reasonable for what you get. . .
