Those playing with the snow on 2 wheels will love this solo seat snowmobile (Snow Speeder?) that you can ride with the same posture you ride your motorcycle.
The Snoped is a very sleek, light weight, all black, high tech looking aluminum machine equipped with a 90 cc motor and Chrysler Sno-Runner track.
A bodywork exposing bolts and screws, LED vertical headlight and taillight, a comfortable seat for hours of slide, make this sled the king of the trails, for short or day and night long distance snow rides. No words yet about production and price. SNOPED. (photos @ Dean Van Dis, Brian Kelly)
I love it ! I want one, as long as I get more snow than this winter ! Very Interesting ! It’s one of those, “Why didn’t I think of that” moments !
Very cool looking.
Looks to me like he’s riding a desktop computer.
if the trail is smooth, no humps its still gonna be rough s a cob
90cc? What’s the point?
Somehow, I don’t think Polaris & Ski-Doo’s
snow divisions have anything to worry about !!!
One unfortunate “Endo” with a sharp, hard corner center-punching the rider and its game-over…… 🙁
-nicker-
Must be 1st April again…..
Looks like a electric motor would be a great fit for that ride.
No noise, no smoke, no leaks.
What Nicker said……………….. peace
Is that the sound it makes?
Would quickly make a gelding out of any guy on a sudden stop is my guess…ouch…
No. There’s a reason snowmobiles are not built like motorcycles: tracks and skids don’t grab like brakes and tires, and that thing is way too top heavy. Even a slow turn made the rider put his leg out to hold it up.
