9TH Annual Cafe Racer Magazine Bike Show Winners

Around 700 guests and 60 motorcycles entered the 9th annual Cafe Racer Reader’s Ride-in Custom Bike Show in Sewickley, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 13. The field was slightly thinned by rain, but the entries covered everything from vintage British bikes to modern retro customs and even a BMW sidecar rig. The show’s top winners were:

3-2016-show-Andrew Frederick’s seafoam green 1973 CB 350 Honda carrying away the People’s Choice and Best Japanese Cafe awards along with prize packages from the magazine sponsors and a check for $200.

2-2016-show-Tyler Stepp won Best in Show for the amazing detail work on his sunning, all-white 1974 CB 360 Honda. Tyler’s check for $300, the day’s top prize.

1-2016-show-Virginian Sean Skinner took top prize for Wildest Engineering for his Yamaha Virago 750 custom that featured a GP-style exhaust and open air intakes in the gas tank.

    Way Cool….!!!

    But more to the point…
“For the love of actually building something unique with your hands and your brain”…
As opposed to buying yet more “personality accessories.”
