Hey Harley, if it is so much better and also EPA compliant, then why not just make these standard on your bikes. It would save you the cost of manufacturing a stock air cleaner that most owners take off immediately, and it would save us consumers the extra cost of buying another intake. Maybe too simple, I know. And I supposed it would be a missed opportunity to further gouge your customers.

No better way to say it than that. To gouge can mean to make a hole or dent in something, or to swindle or steal by overcharging.

As a Harley owner I must agree—————– overpriced bikes with overpriced accessories, still we buy the crap————— and the also overpriced t-shirts, what a country!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree….and I own a Harley. Why not include the air filter AND a good quality seat! Almost everyone buys a new seat after they buy a Harley. As for the air filter, I buy a K&N filter element for fifty bucks or the entire air filter assembly from K&N for about one sixty. By the way, I also own a Yamaha.

Stick with a big sucker or an S & S. Better bang for the buck! Plus you are supporting small businesses.

Most people can barely afford the bike let alone all the extra parts that you gouge them for just something to think about Harley Davidson. And you would probably sell more bikes.
