About time. Maybe it will work better than their carbs???

Hey Zundap, I’ve used S&S products for almost 3 decades now. Was very successful on the drag strip (street classes), and am fitting an S&S carb to my current custom bike build. By choice – because of their proven performance. In some dyno comparison testing I did ten years ago, S&S topped the results when compared with a Mikuni or a CV. Nothing wrong with either of the latter, just saying the S&S was #!.

Sorry Doc, But I’ve personally seen Mikuni HSR 42s beating S&S Eon the dyno and on the butt dyno.
The HSR 45 beat out the G and the 48 was the best on Dave Mackie’s flow bench testing.
Plus much better ride ability/throttle response.
S&S always had a random cough that was so notorious, its called the S&S cough.
    I do love S&S products, but not the E & G.
And many swear by the CV as well. For me it’s Mikuni

Will they be making something similar for Victory motorcycles..?

HE, HE, HE, HE… Just pulling the p!$$$$$$$!

BTW – I am actually missing BobS – he has been unusually quite lately.

SYF, You know what you are talking about. I have had the EXACT same experience with S&S carbs. The one thing I can’t understand is why S&S hasn’t made a knock off of the Mikuni or CV after all these years.

The E and G carbs have good performance on the strip. But terrible gas mileage compared to the CV. The CV is definitely a more smooth operating carb. I can not believe the following the S&S carbs have. Cult like. The Bible, etc. Oh well, each to his own. Just sayin’

Ford carbs IMO Bobby Wood’s 505 is the carb to have

for efi HPI Tb’s are still the best

Nothing wrong with s&s simple and work well got 50+ mpg on my shovelhead regularly, mickey rooneys work good and are responsive but are more complicated and temperamental, seat of pants and dyno s are deceiving, just another cog in the works, most can’t use half the power they have stock anyways, dynos don’t have a finish line, and if that’s not enough what about keihin fcr or psi carbs the battle for supremacy has only just begun I forgot efi

Funny how this turned from an article on a Throttle Body into a discussion of who makes the best carburetor. BTW…make mine a Mikuni.
