Sold individually or packaged as a Zipper’s Kit with a pre-mapped Power Commander tuner, Zipper’s now offers products to significantly improve performance and sound of the Indian Scout and Indian Scout Sixty. It includes:
1- Premium 4” SuperZip mufflers. They feature a louvered baffle design that promotes early and mid-range torque, while allowing maximum HP at the top end. The result is an extremely flat torque curve, with an upwards kick right where you ride for instant acceleration while cruising. These mufflers have a deeper tone with a much more aggressive sound. An extra coat of nickel is applied before chrome plating for a deep shine and the 4” black tips add to the overall robust look of the SuperZip mufflers. Installation is very simple as no extra hardware or brackets are needed.
2- Zippers MaxFlow Intake. The factory-equipped airbox flows an impressive 331 CFM – but it is designed to reduce intake noise, which creates a long, twisting road from the air filter to the throttle body. Zipper’s helps your Indian engine breathe deeper, both in and out. Their MaxFlow air filter system, at 555 CFM, is designed exclusively for performance, and does not yield any noticeable intake noise while out-flowing the factory intake by 40%! Where the stock design is full of sharp turns and narrow passages, Zipper’s wide mouth velocity stack design with conical filter promotes smooth, turbulence-free flow directly to the throttle body. This instantly available clean column of air results in rapid acceleration with improved torque, horsepower and throttle response. When paired with a tuner and a set of slip-on mufflers, this system transforms the powerband and the riding experience of the Scout, gaining as much as 17 ft-lbs of torque and 15 hp where you ride!
3- Zip Kits are hands-down the quickest and easiest way to improve the performance of the Scout in an easy afternoon. The Zip Kit includes a set of high performance SuperZip 4” mufflers, a MaxFlow velocity intake system and a pre-mapped Power Commander tuner. Only basic tools and average mechanical skills are required to add 17 ft-lbs of torque, 15 horsepower and big grins to your Scout!
