Flat Track TT Record attendance At Season Opener In Daytona Beach. The purpose-built TT course created inside the Daytona Speedway created a new atmosphere for the sport. More than 9000 spectators paid a ticket to attend the event live. Online, FansChoice.tv’s got the largest audience for a flat track event since the inception of the live streaming platform in 2014. More than 32,000 unique viewers tuned in, a 138% increase over the 2016 average. Additionally, American Flat Track’s Facebook Live debut reached 1,600,000 and piqued the interest of more than 100,000 viewers in key demographics for the industry. NBC Sport (NBCSN) will feature the Harley-Davidson DAYTONA TT presented on Monday, July 3, at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT), beginning a stretch of weekly primetime broadcasts covering all 2017 American Flat Track events.

KTM Announces Groundbreaking 2-Stroke Fuel Injection Enduro Motorcycles. KTM will unveil the world’s first serial production fuel injection 2-stroke Enduro machines at an official launch this coming May. The KTM 250 EXC TPI and KTM 300 EXC TPI models will be introduced to the market as part of the model year 2018 line-up.

Former MAG Executive Rod Derifield Launches ROR Brands. Most recently President of the Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG) Off-Road Group (DragonFire, Malcolm Smith Racing, ProTaper, QuadBoss and Renthal), is launching ROR Brands. ROR’s initial products will focus on seats and related accessories with imminent plans to expand into other arenas. The first look at the business will be at the Royal Riding display during the Laughlin River Run, April 26-29, 2017. “We want every rider to enjoy every ride in comfort… for as long as they want.”

    Maybe ROR will hire some of the people who are losing their jobs because MAG is closing Motorcycle Superstore…
