EPA And Harley-Davidson Over Emissions Violations. EPA is seportedly slow-walking a settlement with Harley-Davidson over emissions violations amid Republican concerns about a clean air project set up by the deal. Harley agreed last August to pay $12 million in civil penalties and $3 million on a pollution mitigation project after EPA found the company had manufactured and sold almost 340,000 devices to bypass pollution controls and more than 12,000 noncompliant motorcycles. But the court hasn’t yet approved the deal. Harley-Davidson manufactures and sells devices called tuners that change how a motorcycle engine functions to increase performance and power. IT IS RUMORED THAT political hires at the RPA agency have stopped career prosecutors from moving to finalize the settlement since LAST January.

Harley-Davidson Partners With Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum And Will Produce A Line Of 22 Custom Motorcycles. Co-branding seems to work for selling motorcycles. Jack Daniel’s did a successful second co-branding with Indian Motorcycle. Jerry Spiced Rum and Harley-Davidson Inc. are partnering to create a line of custom motorcycles. The new multi-year partnership will include a series of 22 customized motorcycles with shared events leading up to Harley-Davidson’s 115th Anniversary. The customized motorcycle series will feature artists from all  around the country,

Royal Enfield Opens Second Milwaukee Area Dealership. Royal Enfield North America now has two dealerships in the Milwaukee area, the company’s flagship Royal Enfield showroom and dealership, Royal Enfield of Milwaukee, located in the Third Ward, and a new location in Muskego, Wisconsin. This new dealership brings the growing Royal Enfield North America dealer network to 50.  Both of the locations will be operated by Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee.

The Petersen Automotive Museum and Kohn Pedersen Fox Have Been Honored By The Chicago Athenaeum Museum Of Architecture And Design With its American Architecture Award For 2017.Just over a year after its grand re-opening after a $90M remodel that changed the skyline of Los Angeles’ “Museum Row,” The Petersen Automotive Museum has been honored by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design as one of the most significant building projects in America owing to its radical exterior design by architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. The American Architecture Award, which is presented in conjunction with The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, has been given out every year since 1994, and will be presented at a gala ceremony held at the Orlando Museum of Art. The American Architecture Award was created “to honor the best and most significant new buildings, landscape and planning projects which were designed and/or built in the United States or abroad by the most important American architects and planners practicing nationally and internationally.”

    I would not buy a Indian with Jack D. crap all over it and I sure would not buy a Harley with Jerry Run on it .This is just getting dumber and dumber.If you have to have a gimmick to sell a bike you better get into something else.Yea if I go into the dealership and see one of these it will make me want one wrong!
