EPA is seportedly slow-walking a settlement with Harley-Davidson over emissions violations amid Republican concerns about a clean air project set up by the deal. Harley agreed last August to pay $12 million in civil penalties and $3 million on a pollution mitigation project after EPA found the company had manufactured and sold almost 340,000 devices to bypass pollution controls and more than 12,000 noncompliant motorcycles. But the court hasn’t yet approved the deal. Harley-Davidson manufactures and sells devices called tuners that change how a motorcycle engine functions to increase performance and power. IT IS RUMORED THAT political hires at the RPA agency have stopped career prosecutors from moving to finalize the settlement since LAST January.

The new multi-year partnership will include a series of 22 customized motorcycles with shared events leading up to Harley-Davidson’s 115th Anniversary. Royal Enfield Opens Second Milwaukee Area Dealership. Royal Enfield North America now has two dealerships in the Milwaukee area, the company’s flagship Royal Enfield showroom and dealership, Royal Enfield of Milwaukee, located in the Third Ward, and a new location in Muskego, Wisconsin. This new dealership brings the growing Royal Enfield North America dealer network to 50. Both of the locations will be operated by Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee.

The American Architecture Award, which is presented in conjunction with The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, has been given out every year since 1994, and will be presented at a gala ceremony held at the Orlando Museum of Art. The American Architecture Award was created “to honor the best and most significant new buildings, landscape and planning projects which were designed and/or built in the United States or abroad by the most important American architects and planners practicing nationally and internationally.”
