Ride To Work Day Is Monday June 19th. The 25th annual worldwide Ride to Work Day is expected to be one of the largest-ever, according to Ride to Work, the non-profit organization that coordinates this annual event. On Ride to Work Day a much higher number of America’s 8,000,000 cycles and scooters are ridden to work. Some estimates put the numbers of added riders at over 1,000,000. Across equal distances, commuting riders can reach their destinations more quickly—in up to 20% less time than those using automobiles in some situations—and motorcycles and scooters consume less resources per person per mile, and they take up less space on roads and in parking areas.

Triumph Motorcycles Accelerating Assembly Operations in India With 90% Bikes Locally Manufactured By 2018. The company sells 16 models across five different categories in India with only 20% of them assembled at its Manesar plant. For now, most of the company’s products are imported from Thailand and the UK.

Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces Arlen Ness As Inductee Into the 2017 Class. Arlen Ness, well known for his custom motorcycles, designs and parts. “It is a good feeling to know that people like what we do with motorcycles” says Arlen Ness. “I have had this passion for over fifty years. I have attended Las Vegas BikeFest many shows and events all over the world. I think these events are great for the industry and I am happy to be a part of it” says Arlen.

MAG Names Zach Parham As President Of Company’s Retail Group. Motorcycle Aftermarket Group (MAG) named Zach Parham as the president of MAG Retail Group, which includes Motorcycle Superstore and J&P Cycles. Parham replaces Kevin Strawbridge who is stepping down to pursue new opportunities.Zach Parham, 32, has been with the company for 10 years and his most recent role was Vice President, Merchandising and General Manager for J&P Cycles.
