2017 European Bike Week And Custom Chrome International Bike Show Series In Faak, Austria

The 20th edition of European Bike Week (September 5 to 10) and the 15th anniversary of the Custom Chrome International Bike Series will be celebrated at the same time at beautiful Lake Faak in Austria. The first motorcycle meeting at Lake Faak took place in 1998 and was a Harley-Davidson anniversary event at this time. The next year, the event was renamed European Bike Week. In the next few years, it grew from a small event to now the biggest event for the rocker and biker scene of Europe. Events of all kinds happen in organized “villages”, as well as those privately offered around Lake Faak.

Annual highlights are the Harley village, where campsites are located, the parade of up to 25,000 riders with very large media presence around Lake Faak, and of course this year the the 15th CCE Ride-In Bike Show at the Arneitz Custom Show where the best Customizers often introduce their new creations, those who all year long and beyond are going to grace the best magazines, motor books and videos. For those ready to compete for the first time in the show, they have to know that it’s the most generous prize money offered among all other competitions in Europe.

Custom Chrome Europe has invited 10+ professional judges, large sponsors, former show winners as well as the international custom press – to attend the event. The Custom Chrome International Bike Show Series classes are: Championship, Modified Harley, Jammer Old School, RevTech-Performance, Chopper, Bagger and Sportster-Engine. The entry for the bike show will open „high noon“ on Saturday after the parade. Judgement will start at 3.30 p.m. and around 5.00 p.m. trophies will be handed out. The term “Ride-In“ has to be taken literally by the participants. As in previous years, the team of Motor Bike Expo Verona will pick two bikes to be bring to Italy for their upcoming 2018 event.

Custom Chrome Europe will bring their already rolling five “Ride Unrivalled“ Bikes to Faak – among them their first “Milwaukee-Eight” custom bike and a new custom Indian “Scout” As every year, the CCE Management will be out in force: Andreas Scholz, Managing Director, Axel Scherer, Marketing Manager with CCE Sales Team representatives. Kuryakyn will participate with new “Milwaukee Eight” custom parts parts. Other CCE partners and shops will attend the Arneitz Custom Show with separate displays. (photos @ H. Roesler)

That sidecar is nice. My old MSF instructor used to ride his little boy around on a sidecar. A bit safer than two-up, I think.
