BLACK. A Promo Harley Slim Bobber By Custom Chrome Europe | Kuryakyn

Among other strategies, distributors promote their catalogs via the bolt-on bikes they create using the custom parts they reference for dealers and end users. Each year during European Bike Week in Faak, Austria, Custom Chrome Europe presents several of these 2-wheel creations. Among them – ranging from Sportster to Bagger and named  by CCE “Rides Unrivaled, a Bobber style Harley to promote some of Kuryakyn most recent parts.

It is based on the Twin Cam Slim model, meaning the model year edition with dual shock swingarm, not the just released 2018 new version equipped with the Milwaukee Eight engine and a mono shock swingarm. It was customized by Frankfurt/Germany based Harley-Factory (Wolfgang Huebner) at the very short 2-week request made by CCE. The “official unveiling” took place on Thursday, September 7th with Kuryakyn representative Todd Hinrichs flying in from the US just for the occasion.

The idea behind bobbers has always been to strip down and soup up the bike for a more exciting ride. Thanks to Kuryakyn new custom parts the look is authentic bobber-style, at least as much as it can be done with bolt-on parts on a stock Harley. Kuryakyn parts include their new outstanding  “Hypercharger”, several motor covers, brake caliper/brake pad covers, gas tank caps (featuring integrated LED fuel and battery lights), all belonging to the “Mesh” line, very unique rear axle swing arm covers. Most of these parts will be soon available both for both Twin Cam and new ”Milwaukee Eight” powered motorcycles. Floorboards and new pedals are “Heavy Industry” design, as are the mirrors.
