Motor Bike Expo 10th Anniversary In Verona, Italy (January 18-21). Custom Chrome Bike Show Winners.

It’s my 5th report in 12 days about the famous Italy Motor Bike Expo (160,000 paying visitors, 600 custom bikes on the floor during 4 days…) and you may be confused by some bikes that I am featuring more than one time. No, it’s not a mistake. The reason is that the most interesting customs are shot as they set up for the show. Then, the 2 days after some of them are nominated to participate to a bike show competition where they can be one of the winners. And because of limited time, it’s impossible to shoot them all during the show.

The Verona bike show is a partmership between Motor Bike Expo and Custom Chrome Europe. They teamed up for the first time in 2012 for an exciting Italian Championship renewed until now. “Motographer” Horst Roesler, who has been part of the MBE photo crew since the Padua days is acting as “Showmaster” of the CCE International Bike Show Series and nominated 68 customs qualified to belong to the competition. This year, in addition of the Chamionship Awards, a FXR/Dyna Class was added to the traditional ones: Modified Harley, Jammer Old School and RevTech Performance (photos @H. Roesler for C. Huze)

    Well the Drag bag bike is quite possibly the worst looking bike I have ever seen, hideous. Well done Rocket Bob though, very nice.

    I like the brake lever in the top picture of this article. I would like to see some of the American motorcycle manufacturers offer this option! Don’t know if it would hold up after time but I like the style!

    Definitely some awesome bikes but that Drag Bag bike haha. I think the comment above about it being a hot wheels bike is spot on hahahaha
