The Scrambler name and design concept are a revival of the Scrambler line of dual-sport singles made from 1962–1974. The new Ducati Scrambler is a L-twin engined standard or roadster motorcycle made by Ducati.
The new Scrambler was introduced at the 2014 Intermot motorcycle show with US sales beginning in 2015 in seven configurations: the 803 cc Classic, Urban Enduro, Icon, Flat Track Pro, Full Throttle, Italia Independent, and the Sixty2.
The l-twin powered Ducati Scrambler was cooceived to be customized and has served as the base for a variety of customs, from cafe-style retro to off-road tracker. This one-off from Aellambler is putting the trellis frame and engine on full display. The two-piece bodywork combines the front fairing, fuel tank/seat covered in a striking brass foil finish! Awesome!
Recockulous.
Conspicuos consumption silliness
Priapism d’Or.
Someone is drinking too much!
Take the ridiculous body work off and you might have something. Just my humble opinion though.
There’s a great looking bike under that wrapper.
I like it! Inspired by the fabulous Britten V1000?
A scrambler it ain’t. Pretty awesome though.
scrambles to the toilet!
It’s like the builders are just messing with our heads. I see all this amazing workmanship on so many bikes with details that blow me away, but are the dumbest overall looking bikes one could imagine.
The purpose of art is to elicit a response.
And they got one.
This bike would look pretty good if they used another fairing style. Bike could be nicknamed ‘The Knob’.
@xenu, apropos characterization.
the creators could’ve worked a little less phallic look into the shell. and gold works to accentuate.
Il faut vraiment aimer!!!
Dude! While I love the Ducat Scrambler, this ain’t it. I’m not sure what it is, but what it isn’t is a scrambler.
WTF
