Royal Enfield Diversifies Its Offerings With The Official Anouncement of a New Fully-Electric Model. Royal Enfield has been investing important resources into the newfound electric powertrain technology for the Indian market. Rudratej Singh, President of Royal Enfield in an interview with a scribe gave hints of their future plans. He said “Royal Enfield has several projects in the pipeline and the electric platform is one of them. We are in an investment phase in the project where we have a team that is working on different ideas and concepts with a long-term focus. We will disclose our plans at an appropriate time.”

Ivano Beggio, The Founder Of Motorcycle And Sscooter Maker Aprilia has died age 73. Aprilia grew out of a bicycle workshop Beggio worked in with his father. The motorcycle company is now one of the brands owned by Piaggio. Having started as a manufacturer of bicycles it moved on to manufacture scooters and small-capacity motorcycles. In more recent times Aprilia has produced large sportbikes such as the 1,000 cc V-twin RSV Mille and the V4 RSV4. Aprilia has enjoyed considerable success in road-racing.
