My Favorite Painter: David Uhl.

It must be 12 years that I know internationally renowned painter David Uhl. And when I saw his art for the first time in Sturgis, it was love at first glance. Of course, I immediately became a client. Several spaces of my home are filled with his paintings and I never regretted one second to have invested quite a bit of money in his originals, What is unique about David’s paintings is his very special way to translate the romantic early era of motorcycles. As inspiration, he starts from black & white pictures coming from Harley-Davidson own archives and collections. Then, David’s mastery of oil painting is revealed in his unusual and creative use of lights & shadows. When you look at David’s work, you don’t see a scene, you are in it. You can feel the sun rising or the storm coming. David UHL shares his studio and passion with 2 other great artists: sculptor Jeff Decker and painter Tom Fritz. Three very good reasons to visit their website called Artists Riding Together.

Great American artists. These have to become of great value someday. The prices are very reasonable. Hope to be a client soon.
