The concept motorcycle you are looking at is one of three hybrid motorcycles designed by eCycle and Machineart. Much like hybrid cars that are all the rage, hybrid motorcycles use a combination gas engines and electric power. The electric motor is used for torque demands such as acceleration and passing and the gas or diesel motor for cruising and charging the batteries. Fuel economy is estimated at 150mpg, so riders should be able to go for some serious road trips without having to stop and fill the tank. Zero to sixty in 6 seconds with a top speed of 80 mph. Not bad, except it’s not yet the look I want. Maybe I could help with the design. Machineart.

I bet it will take 10 more years before we see “good” manufactured hybrid motorcycles. But, I agree. It’s coming. EPA should be happy.
Right. They have 10 more years to make it look like a true motorcycle. Not like a toy for grown up.
God that thing is FUGLY. personally I would not spend money on something that looked like this.
I agree with fatboyjohn!! That thing is even more ugly than the hybrid cars. I think I’ll keep putting just under 5 gallons in the Harley Fatboy and never complain about how much a gallon of gasoline costs to fill up the tank. FUGLY is a good word for that this. I was thinking more like” I would not be caught on that ugly thing. Do you really think people will buy them? Do they sound like a bumble bee??? EPA is probably real happy on California, I saw where Jesse James got socked with a big fine for building bikes that were not EPA friendly to California.
I think the damn thing has just the right look for the tree huggin, penny loafer wearin type of individual that would be concious enough about the environment to ride a turd like that. At least it would keep them off of the pig iron.
Snake
This thing SUCKS if i were to see the first person seen on this thing should get smacked 24/7.
Y’all do not have any concept, of what a Motorcycle is all about. Go get a H-D Road King(don’t touch it, and don’t take it apart), and go gather of some real bikers, who know Motorcycles, and try to work together, and you just might get a twinkle of an ideal, of a motorcycle. You only know what you know, and the BIGER picture, and grit is, my Brother Bikers know more than you can imagine. Don’t mess with Beauty & Lines, and most of all, respect for the Iron Horse, Dud. The concept is great ideal, just don’t disrespect Her. U got a lot to learn, dud.
