Biker Industry Mourns The Loss Of A Friend

Sandra (Sandy) Leone, 55, special events organizer & coordinator for Myrtle Beach Spring & Fall rallies was killed Sunday in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Her stepfather shot her, her mother and his wife before committing suicide. Sandy was a familiar & smiling face for all vendors & custom builders participating to the Myrtle Beach events. Hired by Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson in 2000, she played a pivotal role in organizing the spring & fall rallies. She was a very personable & friendly person. There will be a memorial service June 23 at 3 PM in Ormond Beach, FL, held at the War Memorial Gardens,  78 East Granada Blvd. Tel: 386-676-3250.

I too was shocked to hear this news! Living in orlando near altamonte springs and hearing the news over the tv, i had no idea it was Sandy until my trip to Horse SmokeOut in NC. A friend told me who it was and i was stunned! Having only met her a few times, i can say she will be missed for her passion and professionalism in promoting our industry. It’s amazing what happens in this world. Rest in Peace Sandy! Guy’s from Guilty will miss you.

This is so sad and such a senseless loss. Sandy was a dynamic woman with a constant smile, the consummate pro, but absolutely genuine in her dealing with people. I’ll miss her.
