Buy A 2009 Harley-Davidson And Get Five Stock Shares

Gateway Harley-Davidson in St. Louis is giving five shares of Harley stock (ticker: HOG) to everyone who buys a new 2009 model. The shares have been trading in the mid- to upper-teens lately. The 52-week high was $50.04 a share. Owners Rene Creed and Chris Creed said sales are up 17 percent through October, to $13.5 million, in part because of high gas prices. Gateway Harley-Davidson.

Today, Harley stock was twelve bucks and some change. I have read their prospectus and they always talk about forward thinking and such. I am guessing that the recovery will be slow.

I wonder when they are going to start consolidating and spinning off some equipment.

WOW, ya mean if I spend 20K on a new Road King, H-D is willing to give me $60.20 in their falling stock??
    Such a deal!!!
Actually, I bought Harley stock in the mid 1980’s and as it ran up I sold it to buy my 2000 Road King.
That was the only way I would have bought a new bike from them.
Maybe it’s again time to hoard their stock and wait for the economy to turn around and get a new one in, oh maybe 2099…lol

This is not about a discount off of a bike. We will deal on that as we have to, which we do every day to earn the business that we do, and to continue to grow as we have been. This is a sale about investing in America. We are giving 5 shares for the proud new owner/owners, not to mention any of the new customers they bring us. I am no financial genius, but I think HD stock will be worth more than $17.44, which is what it was trading at today…This is a good investment opportunity for our customers and a growth opportunity for us.
We look forward to earning your business.
