It smells like trouble for BMC.

End of the road coming into sight for BMC ?????

I wouldn’t count Big Mike out just yet …. he has been on the ropes before and never knocked out.

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

    He should update his website.
The latest “news” is from 2007…….not very inspiring for potential investors

  8. 8 cabe Jul 2nd, 2009 at 3:15 pm

Bad time to be looking for an investor right now and potentially a negative indicator for the company’s health (or not?). Good luck anyway.

  9. 9 Rodent Jul 2nd, 2009 at 7:23 pm

Would any of you all tell the negitive imput to Big Mike to his face?

  10. 10 bigalyts Jul 2nd, 2009 at 10:07 pm

Boy Oh Boy Road12 You probably don’t even have Lunch Money! What gives you the right to make a Judgement Call like that ? Here is a Company with Employees that Need an Investor . Does that make Him a Bad Guy, or Should we figure he is in trouble ! His Name isn’t “Madoff” is it ? He deserves whatever he can do to stay alive and well and Even Prosper! I don’t think that anyone that is in Buisness right now, Could use some type of Investor or Money Man right now ! Well I take that back, Levitt, Weinstein is Rockin’ now!

I agree with Brian your website needs a lot of up dating. Impression and information is key for your brand and will increase the likely hood of getting possible investors. I wish Big Mike the best of luck also but in business luck is made more often then not.

  12. 12 Road12 Jul 4th, 2009 at 5:47 pm

Bigalyts…. Don’t worry … Plenty of lunch money
I just don’t see the potential of such company building overpriced motorcycles
Big Mike knows the value if his business so do I and so do the people I work with
But hey you seem like you have plenty to spend so why don’t you do it?

  13. 13 Bobfather Jul 6th, 2009 at 10:37 am

    Rodent-
yup, I’d say it to Big Mike’s face any day, anywhere. Not at all intimidated by the doofus. The company is a junk asset as was said and their bikes pretty much are the same. Cheapest parts available are used on every bike, no quality at all and no imagination either. BM is basically a theif anyway, ripped off numerous proprietary ideas from some of the best people in our industry. No respect coming from me in any form. The sooner BMC is gone the better our industry will be.

    Alas,
It all comes to roost. This time, we can relish in the joy of a piece of crap motorcycle finding a demise right along side the piece of crap builder.
The reign of “Hey, give me money and I’ll screw everyone I touch” is coming to a close.
No, this is not an unhappy owner of a BMC taking a shot because I found a place to sound off.
This is an industry veteran who has played by the rules, paid the dues by “doing the next right thing”, and has every right to call a piece of crap just that, a piece of crap. Be it a machine or a poor excuse for a man. RIP BMC, and all that goes with you.

Long live those who work for a living. End of the road for those who piss on integrity.

Damnnn and I thought I was coming down a little hard on BMC. I guess I am not the only one who knows what Mike did for this industry…. RIP BMC

Thanks BMC for building such a great bike!! Since 2002, I have owned a 918 rigid chop and have experienced zero major issues. Continue to ignore the haters and keep on rolling…

Big Mike screwed my company big time. First BMC signs a contract for 250 headers for their 07/08 models, Then after building nearly half of their exhaust, we are told, BMC cannot pay us, take a bike instead, Then Big Mike withholds the title, making the bike worthless. Furthermore Big Mike orders another 250 exhaust for the BMC 09 models, Then we are told after we built over 80 sets that Big Mike did not have authority to order these pipes, but BMC would take just a few, again no payment. After a full year of negotiations, we ended getting a rolling chassis without forks and again no MSO, making this crappy rolling chassis worthless. Big Mike you SUCK and so do your ethics. Your name is well known in the bike industry as bullshit!
BMC needs to come clean with us.

You have been around forever and you will stay around. You have one of the BEST names in the industry and have given to alot of charities.GOOD LUCK and i have heard big things are in the making for you and BMC

  19. 19 VICTORY MARK Oct 12th, 2009 at 5:00 pm

First of all good luck BMC and keep going strong.WOW hack together pipes i thought you would be smart and stay off blogs after what you did to Santa Rosa V twin.Talking to bike people it sounds like you do this to everyone, build pipes that don’t work and have all kinds of problems and then don’t back any of your work. hack together really hurt the victory market check out the blogs. The saying is don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house. Santa Rosa and BMC are smart. The two for them need to go with the big pipe makers not the little ones that give the industry a bad name.Lets get these haters out of our industry so it can keep going strong.VICTORY MARK

Well Victory Mark: lets get the truth out there…., That dealer you spoke of broke the contract with Hackerpipes after ordering 1100 complete exhaust systems, that equals $471,900 of pipes they ordered. Hackerpipes worked 2 shifts overtime for nearly 2 moths to build them , that dealer then refused delivery. By the way out the 400 exhaust they had already recieved only 2 sets had complaints, That equals better than 99 percent good product. In most industries 98.5 percent is considered THE goal…. WELL… WE BEAT THAT!!!.
They broke the contract, because of that Hackerpipes was no longer liable. Hackerpipes driver also stated that this dealer was purposly mishandling the product them blaming Hackerpipes.

SO GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT. Oh by the way I did not mention this dealers name becuse they are SUE HAPPY!. I know who you are and you work with that dealer!, So, now you get the truth, not what they told you.
WE HAVE ONE OF THE BEST WARRANTIES IN THE INDUSTRY.

As for BMC.: Rev sent me the MSO for the frame. BIG MIKE STILL OWES ME FOR $24,000 worth of pipes we built that he ordered.
I told BMC to just send me bike cover the cost of the exhaust, that was a loss to us, but hey I \know times are tough. then Big Mike calls my partner and tells him my bike is getting finishing touches on it and will be delivered in a couple weeks. Well I contacted BMC to find out what I was getting and was told that there aint no bike. I then called Big Mike on that, and I recieve 9 E mails threatening me personally and that he was going to destroy my company.
This was last March, I am just am recieving the MSO for the rolling chassis, not the 24K that is still owed us.

THERE IS A HELL OF LOT MORE TO BOTH OF THESE STORIES. This aint the place!!

Don’t get me wrong, even with all the bullshit with Big Mke, I still think BMC builds some of the baddest bikes around. That is why I was willing to cut my losses and take a bike and hopefully work this out with Rev at BMC.

To Victory Mark: You don;t to believe me, so here is an E mail from the GM of that dealer to the marketing Manager of Hackerpipes:

    From: Preston
    Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 9:47 AM
    To: mark.stewart@hackerpipes.com
Subject: Re: Fw: Black Aces w/02 bungs

No I appreciate everything you guys are doing. Just everything in my life is wearing on me finally and I’ve been a real Dick to everyone. I have to be sorry. No one deserves to be treated how I’ve been treating them. I appreciate you as a friend. What is pricing on the Crazy 8’s so I can sent out a few faxes this week and next week.

    P

I deleted his last name and E mail adderess for obvious reasons. this E mail was nearly 8 months into the contract.

So the next time you bad mouth us, HERE IS THE PROOF that Hackerpipes did alright.

hack together you know what you did to these companies invoice them for crap that you cant deliver. oh by the way not just these two a hole bunch of others. The readers would love to know how much money you cost them . i am sure it was much more than $24 thousand. So quite running your mouth. If BMC builds such a bad ass bike which by the way they do i have two of them thank god not with your pipes but my victory did. Oh what a bad choice. Looking at the hack together web site it looks like BMC and you are best friends.i would love to get a hold of Big Mike and have him tell his side of the story because you are the PUNK saying this stuff. I sure don’t see BMC anywhere talking crap so YOU SUCK no one else here.Get your stories right, get out of the motorcycle industry and leave people alone trying to do good.Like Chopper Kidd said NO HATERS they are making the industry a bad place and we don’t need them.VICTORY MARK

    Victory Mark.
Everyone has an opinion and and Asshole, obviously you are just an uniformed ass., You say I suck, go fuck yourself! There that is my opinion of you.

You say we invoiced for pipes we can’t deliver to those 2 companies, plus others. THAT IS A STRAIGHT UP LIE: BMC has lots of stock here, they won’t take it at this time and that other dealer refused delivery. You tell me what other companies we invoiced and did not deliver product. THERE IS NONE!!! Where is your proof?

As for what I say here I can not only back with signed contracts, but with E mail.
Obviously you either work for that dealer or are friends with them, so you have their story, there are always two sides, I have not even begun to tell our side , nor that fact that the business attorney we had siad:
what that dealer did to us.was one shittest things he has seen as a business attorney!

Our Quality is 99 percent plus. You know nothing about us, you do not know me, so stop spewing your uniformed dumb lies and opinion.

That is funny you sit here and bad mouth us using an alias, as do most dumb asses brcause they don’t have the backbone to use there real name, if you will notice I use my real name.

You also punk small businesses, by way the american economy was built on the small businesses.

I know Big Mike personally, Its his Big Mouth that causes grief. Big Mike did say this: our BMC pipes are the best looking headers he has ever seen, and our pipes put out THE power. As for quality with BMC. it is 99 percent.

Saxon also said our Quality was some of the best they have ever recieved.

I will not respond to this thread any more, you are just going on & on with your lies. As I said: I have the contracts and E mails to back up anything I have said here, that includes quality.
