California Classic Motorcycle Auction June 4th-5th

It will happen June 4th & 5th, 2010 at the Pasadena Convention center. A new great opportunity to sell or buy a classic motorcycle. There will be well over 150 world class collector motorcycles on the auction block along with a select group of classic and collector automobiles with many being offered at no reserve.

Organized by Bator Auctions you can bid by phone or, better yet, over their auction website.  During the last Bator Auction in Daytona, due to uncertain economic conditions, prices were down 10% to 15%. But does it really matter? Because if you sold a classic you are no more interested in, you were also able to purchase a new one at a discounted price. And the economy seems to have stopped its free fall. So, I think that right now there are a lot of fabulous opportunities Consignments are still accepted. In a perfect world that scooter would be sitting in my shop.

Just scratching my head….the title “Classic California Auction” has been used by Bonhams for their annual sale at L.A.’s Petersen Museum for several years. Not that this phrase is trademarked but it does seem a bit odd. Oh well.
