Always nice to see an American company who appreciates and supports those who put their lives out there for the rest of us. What I don’t understand is why no comments. When Lorenzo Lamas did likewise he was called a cheap, self serving, profit monger.

I too am very happy to see any corporation or company provide incentives for troop support. We owe the troops a neverending act of gratitude. As for Saxon, I’d be getting this incentive in writing and signed by Mr. Borodkin himself as history shows that this too is most likely more of his “passing wind” and “lip service”. You can’t “rob from Peter to pay Paul” !

I am not a Saxon dealer but the only reason I am not is because of the economy, especially in Michigan. Saxon is trying very hard to do things right. They just started putting Baker Transmissions in their bikes which is a leap forward. The quality of their builds are high and the bikes are built for the long haul. There is no reason why an owner of a Saxon should not still be able to ride that bike 20 yrs from now as long as they do normal maintenance. I have a customer who has a 2005 with 30K miles on it. So far,we have replaced 1 drive belt,1 ign module,1 coil,2 spark plugs, oil and filters. Not bad for a bike like his Griffen.
When things start to pick up a little and people start being more confident as to their expenditures,i will be more than happy to have Saxon Motorcycles sitting on my sales floor. Just my opinion

Mr.JimC. Please don’t show your desparate side. Sell your customers a bike with rideability, dependability, and a warranty that the factory will stand behind. The customers’ money is hard earned and you would probably wish to sell them a second unit in the future. I too have replaced these items as well. On every bike we sold as well as replaced transmission and paint work !!!!! We’d really liked to be paid for the warranty claims instead of paying for this out of my own pocket! I have no doubt that Baker has the best transmissions or that Daytec has the best frames on the market, this however does noy make up for their complete lack of integrity! I can assure you that I am not the only witness to this! And you can put all the lipstick you wish on a pig but it still remains a saxon pig!
