Discounted Gas Tanks And Fenders From An American Metal Forming Company

CAD Works Inc. is an American metal forming company which specializes in deep draw forming and stamping of motorcycle parts, including gas tanks and fenders, for many V-Twin companies. They tell me that they have some inventory of parts from their collection of fenders and gas tanks that they can sell to the public at a discount price. And for those looking for production work they developed a new cost effective tooling to give companies the ability to put their ideas into production. And you will be happy to hear that they make everything in the U.S. and that they do not outsource abroad. Call them at: 626-336-5491 or visit first CAD Works.

Are these parts from tooling that they own? Or are the parts extra pieces made from tooling other companies paid for? If they are it’s called BACK DOORING! Some companies that produce parts will make extras and sell them out the back door without the owner of the tooling ever knowing. Have David put his hand on a BIBLE and say he has never done this. Take a step back so the lightning doesn’t hit you.

We are having a clearance sale on all fenders and gas tanks until the end of October. Discounts from 25-40% based on items in stock or while supplies last. Call me at 626.336.5491 for any other questions. I can also send you a brochure of the items we can sell not featured on our website.

    Mikeout,

We at Cad Works do not sell anything from tooling that does not belong to us. It is a main reason why we have so many v-twin companies trust us with their product designs and production. Our core business is the Aerospace and Military Sector and we are proud to be AS9100 B Certified. This means we treat our entire company and everything we manufacture to this highest manufacturing Standard. Very few companies ever achieve this AS9100 B Certification because they have to achieve the highest levels of quality, delivery and traceability.

    Ricardo,
It doesn’t matter what rateing you have in aero space. It’s what you have in the motorcycle industry.
It would be nice to see what tank designs are in the brocure. Why are you not showing them on your web site. Do they look just like some of the designs of your former customers? I’ve been in this industry alot longer than cad works, and I write into this blog when I see a company or person trying to claim they are on the up-n-up. Don from fat katz pulled all of his tooling from you why? You guys were back dooring his parts. You copied one of independents gas tanks to the T for big bear. You took a one off tank that don built for Jesse Jurens from legend air, and built tooling off it to mass produce for Jesse. I writing to let the general public know about you guys. With the economy the way it is this industry needs upstanding people, be honest ricardo you know the truth about David and his cousin.
That’s all I have to say about that!

    Mikeout,

I sure don’t know where you get your information but it is convenient that you do not disclose your real name or anything about your company? If you email me I would be more than happy to email you our brochure showcasing all of our tank designs that we can sell to the general public. Unlike you, we have nothing to hide. Don pulled his tooling over 4 years ago because he went with someone else and wanted a cheaper price. Just so you know we did all the engineering and tooling development for his trend setter gas tanks and we NEVER back doored his parts. How can we have copied Independent Gas Tank if he is one of our valued customers. We have a great relationship with Kyle and we even developed his Troubadour Tank that Don currently bought off Kyle. So again you don’t make any sense and maybe you should get your facts straight. We have always had a great relationship with all of our customers. As for Jesse we also had him as a valued customer. Again you don’t make any sense refereeing back to Don and some tank he made? The more I think about it are you one of Don’s employees or something? because everything you keep on mentioning links back to Don!

Great remarks – gonna have to look into the “back-door” issue a little closer. Many thanks.

Ricardo, you guys do awsome work and I am so disappointed to see the critical responses left on this web site. You have invested a tremendous amount of money in your company and equipment and have every right to produce tanks for the motorcycle industry or any other industry. I would be more than proud to run your tanks on my bikes, anybody that is jealous of your talents and ability to jump into the bike tank market needs to get their head out of their ass and get a life. Its called American free market, if they can’t live with it they need to move to Russia!!!!
