Classic never goes out of style. So, it’s a great idea from Rivera Primo, years after buying ART – the original manufacturer – to offer again a style of grips and pegs that has been installed in the past on so many factory and custom motorcycles.
But finely knurled grips are not so easy to machine if you want them not only to look good, but to feel easy under your hands while provided sufficient traction when you throttle and clutch, same when you shift & brake, especially on bumpy roads and in wet weather.
Well, Rivera didn’t change anything, and craft them again out of 6061 billet aluminum. And of course, no need to wonder if they will look good with your bike style and paint job. I bought a set of grips similar to these from Speed Dealer Customs on Ebay. I am not affiliated in any way with them but like to pass on info about quality parts I have bought. They also come in brass and black, going to buy a set of the black ones myself.
I’d like to see them either in brass or black.
I woul dlike to see the entire product line introduced back into the market place.
Knurling will never go away, always look good.
