New From Xtreme Machine. Your Favorite Image In Your Custom Wheels.

Are we having an excessive pride in our motorcycle’s appearance? Always in need to display our feelings about everything? Yep, for many us, image is (almost) everything. So, for 2011 Xtreme Machine is launching the Vanity Wheels where you can display any image expressing your feelings, your cause, your fight, your club, etc. For the first time ever you can customize yourself your custom motorcycle wheels with any image you like just by following the simple instructions provided by Xtreme Machine. You can even change your image as But of course, you can do this only with one of their 3 designs (including the new Avenger wheel featured here) but with a choice of chrome or powdercoat finish. Watch the XTreme Machine Vanity Wheels promotion video after the jump.

I like the wheels, but would not put an image in them. Maybe for a club, or the latest creative idea of one of the Teutuls!

I really don’t understand how a motorcycle wheel company can continue to think that motorcycle “knife” wheels are going to sell. Please, a little bit more understanding of the market. No imagination?

Interesting for a few individuals wanting to make a statement. But I agree, it’s more for clubs, associations, etc. Xtreme makes nice wheels, but the model shown is so 2000 long chopper.

Most people have no taste. So, let them put the image they want and you turn a nice wheel into an ugly billboard.

It can be a good idea to move more wheels.

I think it is a good idea. It shows that the guys at xtreem are not just sitting around whining about a bad economy. They are coming up with fresh new ideas on how to sell their product. Good job, more people in this industry should be thinking out side the box like these guys. The wheels may not be for everyone but what wheel or any part for that matter is for everyone? Good Job guys hope you sell allot of these.

at the right price they should sell. and more than anything else you’ll at least be able to identify your rims at a swap meet if your scoot gets stolen.

I have to agree with just my opinion. Everybody can criticize all they want, but it’s still a VERY tough economy and a rough time in the motorcycle industry. With shops still closing down, and the season at an end, keeping busy with new ideas is about the best thing you can do.

We’re working feverishly with new items to come into the next model year with a bang, so regardless of your opinion, you’ve gotta give credit where credit is due…any niche that may catch is simply a hope for some more opportunity.

Greek…I agree with you to one point…the rim industry is played out and there’s not a whole lot more you can do. Much the same way as Boyd’s began doing wheels for mini trucks 25+ years ago, once everybody else figures out how to do it, the knockoffs come in, the forged wheels come in, and so on. The competition gets too great, and wears the industry out. Crying shame, but it’s part of the indsutry we’re in. We’ve seen the same with forward controls over 17 years. Time to come up with the newest, latest and greatest, and hope everybody else agrees.I wish Xtreme Machine well and hope to see them out at the shows.

Maybe you folks who are flaming should get off your ass and come up with the next great idea instead of picking other people apart. There’s an innumerable amount of “geniuses” on this blog, but I sure haven’t seen the innovation.

Thank you Cyril for giving us all a place to voice our opinion. May we all endure this economy, this president, and this rut, and come out smelling like $100 dollar bills.

This industry is all about options. And risks vs.reward, As with any company balancing the two.
