In his small Alabama shop, Michael Lewis from Violent Choppers turned these new parts. First, what he calls “Axle Condoms” ($65), ribbed aluminum spacers originally created for Springer 3/4″ axles like old Springer front ends. Objective is of course to make your legs look prettier by covering the front wheel bearings. They taper down to 1″ O.D. to meet up with the rockers/lower legs. Michael will do a custom set for you ($75), whatever your front end style, of course if you give him precise length measurements. Second, a “Rosie Palmer” Jockey Shift knob with a different ribs design, but working very well in complement of the axle covers. Violent Choppers.
