Roland Sands piloting an air cooled Victory motorcycle is trying to establish a new Land speed Record in the “Modified Partial Streamliner Class” by breaking the 200 mph barrier. Engine was heavily modified by Lloyd’z Motor Workx with the addition of a turbo charger. Here is the video explaining the “Road To 200” with a first test on the “Monster Mile” at Maxton. The road to 200 continues…(12 min. 50 sec)
Good luck to you Roland
Cool video. Good on ya, Roland breaking through barriers.
no guts, no glory. go for it Roland, you must have nerves of steel.
Fastest Victory, check mark!!
Is he sponsored by Polaris? They should try breaking the record on the Indian. Worlds fastest Indian?? Whole promo package, perhaps Mr Hopkins would make an appearance. That would be a promo bonanza for the Indian brand and for Victory. Just wondering.
Good look Roland, your right your the right person to make this 200mph record!!
Fastest Indian was set by Anthony Hopkins!!!! He needs to do a lot more R&D, before he says”Victory is the Motor to do 200 MPH”! I guess Polaris is listening. Of course Polaris is sponsoring this Complete Expedition. What motive would Jr. have to do this on a Victory? Maybe he is sleeping with one of the “Ness” women. Ha! Ha!
great ride , congrats on the record . look forward to seeing ya do 200.. ride hard …
Does anyone know the ECTA record for that class ?
Roland has proved himself at GP & will do so again with LSR.
JUST A LITTLE OFFERING TO THE GODS OF SPEED…THEY WILL GET IT
Awesome
With a little work he could be almost as fast as Jody Perewitz. Team J’Witz, became the first woman to run over 200 mph on an American V-Twin motorcycle.
Roland 200 is so amazing!!!! ESPECIALLY ON AN AMERICAN V-TWIN!!! This video totally makes me get that huge grin! You will get there!! Its an unbelievable journey!
BTW Thanks Dot!
Good effort Roland and crew, I didn’t break my cases like you , but i took out the pistons on my new Softail at just shy of 200mph as well during the BUB event just over a month ago…. nitrous can be hard on parts for sure ! Hope to see you and that machine on the salt next year…. Cheers r
Very cool (:-)
