The 26″ diameter front wheel is the new bad boy of the custom motorcycle industry. Seen on baggers and other radical contraptions, very few different designs were available, and nowhere could you find a 26″ wire wheel, until today… Sinister is launching the first and only 26″ Big Fat Daddy Wire Wheel, available in stainless steel, stainless with white spokes or white rims with stainless spokes. For all those who think that taller is better. Sinister Wheels.

I wonder how much if any deflection occurs between the spool & rim with these and future large spoke tyres
First, no, not really, I can’t remember the company name but I saw someone offering the same in 26″ over 2 years ago.
they arent the first ,HDW has had a true 26 inch wire wheel for a few years now . Doesnt matter tho ,still cool

The Sinister guy is a little bit of a bragger. Yes, HD Wheels had a 26″ spole before him. Second, I observe that Sinister is also imitating the HD Wheels rim/spoke color combination. Hmmm…
if i wanted to run rubber bands for tires and look like a chump id go buy a honda civic and rice it up……. come on….
Looks good.Always a fan of spoke wheels.
shoppes driving a lambo.is a familly man and hes
on his game….your all haters, but are buying his stuff…quality products no matter who’s first will always be in style ..and he has some cool stuff..go john!
sinister wheels and sinister industries are 2 diff places
Looks exactly like the same wheel that is being made by Stylin Products and it has been around for a couple of years, looks like a job for the copy cat cops…..
My question is, what is a copy cat or ripoff design? DNA, Ride Wright, AWW and others have done fat straight spokes even longer, it is just a AAW smooth rim blank with the centers cut out and spokes added, you can buy them in just about any size you fancy, all parts needed to make them yourself are available off the shelf. Lacing a wheel and sending parts out for powdercoat or chroming isn’t that hard.
The industry seems full of people claiming to be the first, or their product was copied by someone else, some are true, but most aren’t, besides, the Aftermarket and custom V twin industry is built on ripping off and the improving upon other companies designs. Harley Davidson itself.
MY BAD..THOUGHT JOHN WAS BRANCHING OUT AGAIN..SORRY
I dont know why people bother saying they are the first either ,they generally just happen to be the first to brag about it .But the world is too small to be the first or the best ,someone is always ahead of the next guy who thinks hes ahead of the next guy who thinks hes ahead of everyone . And to simplify it ,its really just a big spoke wheel .I can be the first guy with a 37 inch spoke wheel in 2 days with a CNC machine and some custom spokes …….but who cares,i would just be the first to make something totally stupid and unuseable .23/26 inch wheels are pretty comon nowadays anyway .,its not magic
