Job Opening For Experienced Custom Builder

Fellow custom Builder Ralph Randolph, owner of Knockout Motorcycle Co. in Mesa, Arizona. is looking for a good bike builder with experience. Description of requirements to apply follows after the jump.
 
“We are looking for another veteran bike builder with minimum 8 years experience that is able to fabricate, highly skilled welder with TIG and MIG, on steel, aluminum etc for our expanding business. Mechanical knowledge to work on all types of Harley Davidson type V-Twins very helpful. Electrical knowledge of wiring motorcycles, tuning and diagnosing problems. A good track record of experience building and fabricating custom motorcycles in general. Experience with Knuckleheads, Panheads, Evos and Twin Cams. The person we are looking for must also know his or her way around computer programming for tuning and also able to order parts while knowing which parts need to be ordered.     Sadly I’m out I have no professional experience and my hobby experience is more like a year…

    does this look like a mismatched, kludged together bucket of bolts -or am i off base here?

    I mean, look at the clutch speedo and brake lines…

    I can see why these guys need someone with experience

    With all those qualifications the applicant might as well open there own shop. At least they are not requiring you to be able to ride a motorcycle.

    Ralph is trying to find someone because Kenny Lucas was killed a few weeks back …. kenny was a great dude that was very talented ,probaly had more talent in his little finger than alot of you keyboard posers will ever posess in a lifetime …. Knockout Guys are standup dudes that build great stuff .. RIP Kenny you were a great guy and will be misse by all

    Good luck finding your new guy and so sorry to hear of the loss of Kenny. It’s one thing to be able to build a bike out of your garage and it’s a whole other thing to own a shop and build bikes for customers and keep them happy and pay the bills. Good luck to you.

    sad that his man died, no won disputing that – said is sad

    this bike though is still amateurish and i am sure dont reflect this mans talent – unless he built it
