Motorcycle Motor Oil Question Answered By Spectro

Reader’s question: Why does Spectro use batch blending?

Spectro Oils of America’s Answer: has been blending state-of-the-art high performance lubricants for over 40 years.  We are lubrication experts, and we have always believed in formulating and crafting products so they will outperform the competition and provide enhanced reliability in their intended applications. This insistence on quality and performance has dictated rigorous methods, often at odds with many of the other brands in the market.

We Batch-Blend To Better Control Consistency. For example, Spectro has always insisted on batch-blending all of its products. When our products are batch blended, the base stocks and additives that go into each and every bottle can be more carefully measured and controlled, ensuring performance consistency.   If an additive is needed to counter a specific problem, say power-robbing heat, Spectro ensures having the optimal dose of that additive in each and every bottle shipped to market. With batch-blending, we can do precisely that.

To ensure performance consistency, we clean the production lines totally between batches so there is no mixing of ingredients from one batch to the next.  Most blenders are content with “mixed” product at the beginning and end of a run, which means you don’t always get the exact product the label says you’re getting. With Spectro batch blending, we – and our customers – can be confident the product is what it says on the label, and will perform precisely as specified. Batch blending is more costly, obviously.  But in this age of expensive motorcycles, it is good to know that yours will be properly lubricated.  Spectro Oils

I use Spectro Golden 20w50 Synthetic Blend in my motorcycles and I am Very Happy with it.
Just for the record I also use their transmission fluid, primary fluid, brake fluid and their motorcycle cleaner and polish.
I expect the cleaner and polish will open some eyes as it did mine.
I started off with engine oils and was so pleased with it I continued to try some of their other products.
Give it a try and I suspect you will be happy just as I am.

Have heard the car guys complain that flat tappet cams need additives that the EPA is against.
Does Spectro solve that problem for older M/Cs……… ???
