200 miles and hour. WOW!
That was pretty awesome.
I wonder how many hamsters in wheels they have in that bike? *wink*
creepy quiet though 🙂
Yeah Baby … that is screaming!

Awesome. Could care less about ’em on the street, but the dragstrip is where electric bikes belong. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an “electric unlimited” class in NHRA soon. Electric motors have unreal torque and unlimited adjustability thorugh frequency drives and other controls. With a PLC monitoring a front and rear wheel speed sensor and controlling the output we could see the “pilot” simply watching the tree, hitting a button and hangin on to steer. Would be wicked fast and less expensive than current bikes once it got debugged. I don’t think a piston/turbin bike would be able to compete with them eventually. Wicked cool.
VERY COOL..BUT I STILL LOVE NITRO BURNING MY NOSE! AND THEY ARE STILL A SECOND OFF THE PACE
Congrats to the cake decorators at OCC! Guess that blob left on the starting line was the icing. Impressive!
I agree, a1, but it’s early in the game. Given the right geeks, riders and some time, no piston bike will be able to touch them. It’d be like Granatelli’s gas turbines at Indy all those years back – only a rule book could beat ’em.
Yeah, the bike is still off if you are running in a Nitro class, but it damn sure is in the hunt if it is running in NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles class. In fact the 201 mph would be a World Record speed for that class.
Just an observation.

This is down your alley, knowledgeable bike builder and drag racer.
Maybe a future record holder in the electric drag classification.
What you say ?
We would like to see it happen.
Larry, great video and run! Spiderman built my 103 in my present ride and he sure knows his stuff!
