Installation is a snap! The new Dakota MCL-3212 digital information system plugs directly into the stock wiring with no modifications needed. It replaces 2011-up Softail and 2012-up Dyna models with 3-3/8” or 4” bar mount and tank mount applications.

Features include an adjustable speedometer (selectable as MPH or KM/h), adjustable tachometer that can also be displayed in the digital readout, fuel range to empty, clock, odometer with two resettable trip meters, engine cylinder head temperature, check engine indicator, security, low fuel, voltmeter reading with low voltage warning, resettable service miles, resettable hour meter, high speed recall, high rpm recall, user settable countdown service meter with warning, 0-60 mph timer, ¼ mile timer, ¼ mile speed, gear position display compatible with 3 speed through 7 speed transmissions, and adjustable rpm warning point with output for external shift light. Displays self dim at night for convenience.     And I think actually it is going to fit 04-11 Dyna – since the 12 got the new wiring – but should be perfect for your 06 Street Bob!

    Pretty sure the Drag Specialties unit is in fact from Dakota Digital as per this link and fit’s 04-11 Dyna’s

    I installed one on my 2011 FXDB and it works great! Really like being able to monitor speed and rpms at the same time. Very easy install.

    Recommendation: Make sure you write down your odometer reading before you take your old speedo out.
