Not only have I seen “experienced” riders do the same thing …. hell, I have done this myself! Damn leather soled boots and hot asphalt do not mix! That is my excuse and I am sticking with it! Hate when that happens!
We got a little tradition around here called “The 8-Ball Award”. You know those small 8-ball tire valve stem caps? Well, whoever dumps their bike gets it on their front tire. Of course, you get run over by a truck, we ain’t gonna come to yer hospital room to give it to ya. One year out at Sturgis I come blasting into the campsite, grabbed too much front brake on wet grass, ‘an down I went right in front of my tent [alcohol was a factor, ya think,Yuk-Yuk!!] Next morning the oldskool hardcore bikers had a ceremony, and in front of everybody, took the 8-ball off another guy’s bike, ‘an put it on mine! Had to run it until sumbudy else dumped theirs! That year that 8-ball wound up on about 7 different scooters! Good Fun, but lesson learned also! Wiz
It’s not IF you will lay your bike down, its WHEN. I think everyone that rides has done this..no wet grass, no sand, no hot tar or asphalt, or all of the above. People aren’t being nice Kroeter, just being sensible!!
I guess she forgot that you need two Legs in the beginning, when you stop! No Biggie.I hope it’s the worst she ever endures!
Well this just went viral! Glad she wasn’t hurt but that was funny as hell. Reminds me of the old grape stomp video.
SHE PLAYED IT OFF VERY WELL, SHE IS A PRO FOR SURE!

Ya’ll are too nice, I see no soft sand or wet grass on that parking lot. She was in too much of a hurry to get in front of the camera.
