Baker Drivetrain Opens A West Coast Sales And Support Center. Effective July 9, 2012, Baker Drivetrain 877-640-2004 has opened their new sales/support center in Phoenix, AZ. to service and better support the Southwest United States. Extended phone and online support hours are intended to create an open door for better service for all customers. Says Bert Baker: “We are continually searching for ways to better support our customers. The new sales/support center in Phoenix allows us to extend our phone hours to 8:00 p.m. EST  Monday to Friday and to offer faster customer support and service parts delivery to the Southwest United States”.
Zero Is Recalling 450 motorcycles For Brake Light Switch Issue. Zero Motorcycles is reporting that the switch at the front brake lever may not activate when a moderate amount of front braking occurs. That means road users behind the bike will not know that it is slowing down and could lead to a crash and potential injury or death to the rider. The models recalled are model year 2011-12 S, XU and DS motorcycles, as well as 2011 MXD and XD models, plus 2012 X motorcycles. Zero will notify owners and dealers will make the fix free of charge. Indian Motorcycle In Sturgis Will Welcome Mike Wolfe, Creator and Host Of  “American Pickers” On History Channel.  Wolfe has been picking, or finding antique gems in unique places, since the age of 5 and has a passion for Indian Motorcycles.  His self-proclaimed “best pick ever”, a barn full of classic Indians, fueled his desire to pursue the unique profession as a career. Wolfe has turned his love for products that made America great into ”American Pickers”, a top cable television series, educating audiences about Indian in a refreshing and new way. Wolfe will visit the Indian Motorcycle Experience at 3rd and Lazelle on Friday, Aug. 10th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm to discuss how Indian helped him become America’s #1 picker. Fans can get an autograph or a picture, or even bring a vintage Indian bike or memorabilia for a chance to spend some quality time with Mike and swap stories about Indian.

    The last Indian from Gilroy had Brancomb Richmond as its mouth. can’t the Polarias version stand on its own?
