The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® was the site for the annual Sturgis Rider Sweepstakes™ where one lucky winner received a custom Victory Cross Roads motorcycle (named “Kountry Wild” by Klock Werks), an Epiphone Coronet guitar and today won a feature in my website! The one of a kind creation features Renegade wheels, high output Kicker sound system, hand tooled leather from Duane Ballard of DB Leather, detailed paint and airbrush work by Darren Wenzel of Gasoline Art, floorboards from Strokers Dallas and fenders, handlebars and fabrication by Brian Klock of Klock Werks.
The capacity crowd in the Buffalo Chip’s natural amphitheater was treated to an exciting night when the 8 finalists of the Sturgis Rider Sweepstakes™ took the stage to cheers from the audience. One name was drawn at random from the list of finalists. The winner was Mr. Ian Sherwood of Wood, SD. Mr. Sherwood, an avid motorcycle enthusiast, had earned his randomly chosen spot in the finals by registering for the Sturgis Rider Sweepstakes™. This year’s sweepstakes registration was collected online at Buffalo Chip, live at the Gibson tour bus at The Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle rally, and via QR code scans that were available on Pepsi cans and at in-store promotions leading up to the rally.
The Sturgis Rider Sweepstakes™ winner’s name was announced live on the main concert stage at the Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on Friday, August 10, 2012 prior to the headlining performance by Slash. More information and registration for the 2013 Sturgis Rider Sweepstakes™ with its one of a kind prize package that combines the world of music and motorcycling will soon be available at Buffalo Chip.
A little busy for my taste paint wise but I REALLY dig the custom leather work on the seat and bags! Would like to see something like that on a future Victory Ness Signiture model.
Looks nicely done. He will get questioned about it wherever he goes. I’d like to see more pics of this one…
Don’t like this bagger. Something wrong with the lines.
I hate him. Lucky bastard.
Congratulations Ian! And thanks to the Klock Werks, Buffalo Chip, and Gibson Peeps!
Now let’s go for a ride!

That was a fun project. I really enjoyed doing the leatherwork. Brian is always great to work with. Thanks for sharing Cyril. http://www.dbcustomleather.com
Duane, the leather work is absolutely beautiful. I feel so honored that Ian won this. (I am the wife). I open the garage door and about fall over every time I see it! I will get some more photos up here in the next day or two. Thanks again to everyone!

Somebody please tell the Ness clan that ugly ass headlight has to go!!!
Red, You just did !
Sell it, buy a HD.
Red…your as dumb as the rest of the Hardley posers….
Ness has absolutely nothing to do with the design of this bike.
looks better than ANYTHING HD has ever put out…..
The front fender hitting the frame at first hard braking! POS.
Drake…Another well thought out statement from some “original” POSER
Just when i think it isn’t possible to be any more stupid……..
“Ride to pretend and pretend to ride” my friends
Why are you busting the guy’s Balls ?
He won a bike ,Congrats and good for him.
Just because it’s not a Harley , it’s a piece of shit ?
Very Nice !!!!
But I’d be worried about the Front fender & the air dam too?
Maybe it’s just the angle of the photo ????
