Good Guys Air Filter

Good Guys is a new line of custom parts by German customizer Rick’s Motorcycles (also official Baden-Baden Harley-Davidson dealer.) This air filter is a “variation” of many others with the same basic design, but this one will remind you the configuration of a brake/pulley system. Sold with K&N filter and necessary mounting hardware. Bolt-0n piece on all Twin Cam touring, Softail and Sportster EFI models. A classic shape with a new twist will cost you 499 Euros or about US $650. At Rick’s Motorcycles.

I’m always amazed at how much people will pay to look like everyone else.

Yawn same old design, like said above same old same old. That is why I designed and built my own AirCleaner I didn’t like what I saw, and did’t want to llok like 99.999% of all the other bikes. A minor difference or design change is just the same, and certainly not worth $300-$800 for fifty bucks worth of parts and labor. I guess I am not satisfied looking like everyone else either.

If I want to be reminded of a brake/pulley system, I’ll get one. I’m not a fan of any component on a bike that’s supposed look like some other component on a bike. That includes a softail by the way. If you want something that looks like a rigid, buy a rigid.

Well, Germany is not (yet) in recession, so they still produce overpriced toys.
