Before The Musket 998 cc V-Twin Engine There Was A 700 cc Version

musk1musk2Last week I reported on Aniket Vardhan successful attempt at building the new and extremely beautiful first 998 CC Musket 59-degree V-Twin engine and on the current development of a specific frame to house it.

But it was not Aniket’s first success. Before the 998 cc, Aniket built a 700 cc version and the bike to go with it, now called the Musket 1. Waiting for the Musket 2, a couple of pictures of this first complete project .

Updates will be posted HERE.

Runs great! Sounds good too. A lot of work rolling there.
I like the stacked mufflers. If your pipes are 1-1/2″, look at the repop KH mufflers from V-Twin or Dennis Corso (65231-52CH). Installed, they’ll begin and end without the lead and tailing straight section of pipe on each end of the muffler presently installed..

Not forgetting the cinematographer flick-artist that created this home-spun tale. We really like the intermittent rear window framing and steady hand. Classic glimpses of the interior door panel and window crank. 🙂 Hard-core self promotion going there.

    We liked it! 🙂
