Ducati North America just announced record sales for 2012, the company’s best year in this market with total sales of motorcycles up 21% and a 42% increase in its apparel division. Chief Executive Cristiano Silei thanked passionate Ducati fans (fyi, they are called “Ducatisti”) for the company’s best year in this market and said that he was “guardedly optimistic that 2012 might have been the last bad year in the motorcycle sales slump that began with the economic crash of 2008.” Silei credited Ducati’s broadened line of models — 15 new products going onto the market in 2013, including the all-new Hyperstrada and Multistrada Granturismo — with serving Ducati veterans and attracting new Ducati customers. picture Panigale model @ Ducati North America.

@Mike Greenwald – absolutely and the Diavel Cromo is everything the V-Rod should have been…
I’ve seen this bike up close and if I ever going to buy a crotch rocket, this would be the one it’s AWESOME! Everything about it is badass.
The Bike is brilliant. I have a sport 1000 myself (the one without the fairings). What I don’t really get is why is this one special. It’s pretty much the stock bike with a few mods.
Mike, The Diavel is the nicest Design and the most sensible “Crossover” Motorcycle that I have ever seen and is Manufactured! I would lo to ride one, or rent one! And then Buy one!!!!
