I was happy to see others talking about the Mikuni round slide carb and its performance. I have been running them since 1970 and have made kits to run them on Ironheads, shovels, Evo’s, Triumphs,BSA’s and Nortons and many special manifolds for one off apps. I have been running 1- 44mm on each cylinder on my 135 cu. in. Shovster drag bike for many years nd bike runs great and easy to keep tuned. Way more tunable and drivable than most carbs. In my experience, it seems that the people that bash them don’t understand how to work on them.
