All-New Series “Orange County Choppers” Premiering On CMT November 16.

Paul-Teutul-SrPaul Teutul Sr. returns to television, this time on CMT for a new “Orange County Choppers” 8-episode series premiering Saturday, November 16 at 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT. Content? Same as usual: “Senior” takes on the most challenging bike builds of his careers, navigates tight deadlines, shows lofty ego.  All this with the complicity of a team of rowdy co-workers doing outrageous pranks…

Highlights from the premiere season of “Orange County Choppers include”:

1- An international client orders a custom “dragon bike” that becomes one of the most intricate builds the team has ever taken on.  When a prank goes awry and a piece of the dragon is broken, all hands must be on deck to resolve the problem and finish the bike by the time the client returns to the US.

2- One of America’s most beloved restaurants commissions Senior and his team to build a bike for a giveaway at their annual national convention. It’s crucial that the bike impress the audience of nationwide franchise members.  Pressure mounts toward the end of the assembly when a problem with an important bracket and a chrome-bubbling issue threaten to keep the bike from the looming reveal date.

3- GAF, the largest roofing manufacturer in North America, orders a bike to present to a veteran on stage at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  The team only has two and a half weeks to design and build a chopper that’s worthy of a Purple Heart recipient—and that will be unveiled in front of thousands of die-hard motorcycle fans.

5,4,3,2,1…..who gives a rats ass? OCC was always a joke to someone who knows bikes. Great self promoter and money maker but that’s it.

Sounds a lot like a show I saw a few years ago on Discovery then moved over the The Learning Channel. Think I’ll pass.

  3. 3 JohnJ Oct 8th, 2013 at 9:16 am

Gee… does anybody see the difference between Discovery and CMT demographics? I’m serious ya’ll… Hey Senoir WHATS fir dinner??? Yeehaw! I say he should combine OCC and Hee Haw… then I might tune in… and maybe play live country acts set up in the garage… awesome.

It’ll be interesting to see what the ratings are. I don’t know how to rate a TV show considering driving a truck, catching anything hiding in water and checking out yard sales are/were big moneymakers.

The general public now think we are somewhere between OCC and SOA

I think I’ll go off and have a mid life crisis…….I just can’t live up to all these pressures…lol

Well said Woody, that’s hilarious! I hear there’s a show out there now that features guys walking around with metal detectors. Not EOD guys…just like retired dudes on the beach or some such.

Hmmmm, got an idea for a reality show where groups of cyclists w/sidecars battle it out delivering pizzas for rival pizza parlors. I call it, “Sons of Anchovies”. The schedule is always tight, with no love lost between rivals, and mayhem & name-calling is guaranteed battling, “30 minutes or it’s free”.

Why would anyone watch this scripted predictable show anymore?

  12. 12 Iron Horse Oct 8th, 2013 at 7:21 pm

    I’d watch Woody’s show before occ’s.

  13. 13 Boots Oct 8th, 2013 at 10:48 pm

Spoiler Alert…………, I’ve heard they get every bike done on time!

    bbring back biker build off

  17. 17 Trike Lady Oct 9th, 2013 at 2:16 pm

Sr. must need the money badly.
I agree with paparay on bringing back biker build off programs, let’s bring new talent to the lime-light and different bike designs.

Another stupid effort to live off of the motorcycle community, a waste of time

    RE:
“…effort to live off of the motorcycle community…”

    Spot on Dude….
    Same old stuff, different day.
As described, anything that bad simply can’t be improved.
A wast of time at it’s very best.

Right now the biker that is worth watching on TV is Barry on The Storage Show

  21. 21 dmj Oct 10th, 2013 at 5:56 am

“The general public now think we are somewhere between OCC and SOA”

or dragging defenseless families out of their SUVs and beatin’ the crap out of them. OCC- just what we needed at this difficult time to improve our image.

  22. 22 hk Oct 10th, 2013 at 9:49 am

i think we should just remove all motorcycle shows off the air good or bad because all of us that actually make a living off motorcycles know damn well that when the motorcycle shows came out all they did was increase revenue and traffic into our shops because motorcycles were in the public eye ,,,,and who wants that right ???? No such thing as bad advertising .

the show sucks and so does duck dynasty and hog catching redneck mud swimming chicks on the ice roads but guess what it helps the industry as a whole whether you want to admit it or not . I welcome it ,i dont endorse the stupidity but i embrace the collateral damage so to speak .

  23. 23 Woody's Oct 10th, 2013 at 11:56 am

There’s a mud-swimming chicks industry? You got my attention now! Is there a lease/rental option? (had a bad experience with actual ownership) 😉

  24. 24 Jim C Oct 11th, 2013 at 9:16 am

A lot of guys love to hate on OCC and yet they will still watch the show. Love them or hate them, Occ has done a lot of good for the industry whether you want to admit it or not. I am not one for the arguing, ect. I like the creativeness. to me it would be hard to build a bike that relates to a restaurant chain. To me, that is what makes the show. I have gotten lots of ideas and seen lots of new parts from various companies on the show that I did not know was available. I look through all the B.S. and focus on the positive. Just my .02

    re:
“… Occ has done a lot of good for the industry whether you want to admit it or not…”

IF OCC has “represented” the industry as buffoons, how has that “done a lot of good”….???
