A Visit To The Vintage Monkey Garage Studio

vintagemonkey1vintagemonkey2vintagemonkey3vintagemonkey4vintagemonkey7I love Garage Studios, these cool places which are more than motorcycle shops, where projects are not limited to bikes but to the design and creation of one-off architectural elements inspired by the automotive custom culture. One to discover is Shasta Smith’s The Vintage Monkey in Sacramento, California. Since most of you will never go there, but thanks to internet, you can jump to her workshop, read about Shasta’s interesting life and background, look at her street-legal 1972 Honda racing bike, see her current vintage industrial era decorative pieces, and may be buy one of her cool tee-shirts. Just FYI (for your inspiration) The Vintage Monkey.
