Last January, I pre-announced that Metalsport would unveil a 32” wheel wheel to the dealers visiting the V-Tiwn Expo. This model named the Corleone was a collaboration with Matt Hotch who built the “La Sancha” extreme bagger featured here.
Whatever you think of the new 32” wheel – love it, hate it or just an ego battle between wheel manufacturers to be the 1st to? – you will find quite a few of these giant donuts installed on show-off baggers competing in bike shows. But this 3D wheel design is quite cool and available in chrome finish in many sizes, starting at 16,17,18,21,23,26,30 and now 32”. Many wheel/ tire packages for this model and others are available from Metalsport. 562.776.9594
Was hoping this big-front-tire fad would die. Looks like it’s heading in the opposite direction.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!
I love Matt’s work, and this bike is a stunner. I don’t think I’d ride a 32 (or a 30 for that matter) as a daily driver, but that’s not what a show bike is. I do ride a 26″ bagger as a daily rider and it rides and handles much better than stock.
Please stop. Now I am seeing guys in my town with these big wheels. They look like clowns. I am sure they were fools before the big wheel install, but now they are fools on poorly engineered bikes and that’s a danger to me.
Why don’t they quit fucking around and do a 60″? Or maybe you can get one the same height you are….so make mine a 74″ OK and my kid needs a 76″. No doubt some loon will do it and some other loon will buy it. For Christ’s sake stop the madness.
Have you ever seen a guy that works out so much he looks like Arnold from the waste up, but then has little chicken legs ’cause he never works them?
Spot on BobS… spot on!
Is that a tire or just a really big o-ring
1972 , 1972 , 1972 , I wish it was 1972 …………………………………..
these guys must be on the cutting edge of the next big wheel fad explosion.

if this front wheel size is so bad why are they making them bigger? it’s because they are selling!
Personally I blame it on the over indulgence of modern synthetic drugs.
At least that’s what I hope it is…lol
Yawn…..Someone wake me when this nightmare is over…Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Can’t be much longer until we see someone build a Penny Farthing again…
I agree, Matt does nice work. So his business caters to this trend, fine, helps keep him in business. The best part is his company is substance over form, so when then trend dies, his company will continue on. That ability to weather the storms proves real manufacturers still exist in the USA.
Make it a trike and you’ll get a Big Wheel…
that is so f**king gay
Needs to be a knobby to really be cool.
You‘d need a complete lack of bike history to do this to a motorcycle.

O-ring?
Try rubber band!
I don’t know why they even have front brakes on these big wheels and rubber band tires, as the surface area from tire to pavement is about the size of a quarter. Doesn’t seem practical to me.
In retrospect, I really shouldn’t be saying anything bad about today’s “styles” as I remember the 60″s when the “raked front end” and radical extended springer/girder front ends just kept getting longer and longer and longer! The difference then however was, most “real” bikers built and modified their bikes themselves rather than shopping from a catalog. I remember back in the day, where we ran suicide shift and no front brake because the front brake took away from “the look” and cleanliness of the front end. It really sucked coming to a stop going up a steep hill, but with time, it became second nature.
opinions are like….
Great work, great style, but I would like to see someone or anyone ride that across the country and back!
Nice lines but that 90degree front fender is killing me!!
Kind of ugly, kind of awesome! not really sure what to think about it. Interesting idea though
Not sure how I feel about that.. I wonder how it rides?
All it needs is a 330 on the back… LOL what a joke.
