Is’t bad enough to pull up to a light and the car next to you has a boom box with broken speakers thumping the ground. Now bikes. In the 70′ I did try a stereo on a 76′ FLH bat wing faring. It was impossible to hear your motor, and pipes, or the sterio at speed. .A few years ago I had a Guy come in the shop and wanted me to remove his loud pipes so he could hear his tunes. $500. worth of pipes down the drain( I guess he Ebayed ‘em). Back to stock he went with Lead Zep screaming. Kinda strange then, and now it’s even worse.. We yell loudly about Freedom, freedom to jack with citizens is the norm. I will not ride with a jerk with this crap- My friends and I , we just laugh at them.. Pay attention to the road around you, not changing CD’s, kinda like cagers cell phoning, and texting. Oh crap that will be the next road hazard to worry about. Just ride in a car and give us who ride a break..

Between the audio system, heated this that and other thing, video screen, backrest…..enough!

If you wanna make your bike like your living room, then just stay home.

The old curmudgeon in me just doesn’t get it. There are a few dozen of these asshats with this kind of stereo system blaring at thursday bike night all with different tunes. I like the sound of the V twin, that’s my music. Can’t blame them, apparently there is customers for this stuff.

If some people didn’t like music with their riding
There would be a Lot of aftermarket companies
(Hogtunes, J & M, Rockford Fosgate, Arc Audio, Hawg Wired and Soundz are just a few)
that would be out of business or have their market seriously reduced.
Got no argument against Good music (the key word there is Good..)
& you need a good system to play it on. I can still hear the pipes, so it’s all good
