Except on very few one-off customs, copper didn’t find its way to motorcycle wheels. Renegade Wheels has decided to offer any of its wheel sizes and models in copper finish. For sure, a high visual impact. The company will protect the copper with a clear coat to minimize maintenance. Still, copper is a quite soft material, not reacting with water but slowly reacting to moist and salted atmosphere. So, I will not recommend copper for a daily rider in all weather conditions. The others looking to grab attention can go for it. It will cost you $200 more per wheel, a very reasonable price to ride on very exotic wheels. Renegade Wheels.

So copper is the first step in the chrome, yet the wheel is $200 more? I guess it cost $200 to make it shinny. If you’re worried about patina, put a clear coat on them
Clear Ceramic coating, I did it on My Aluminum Schott’s wheels on my Hemi Ram 1500 and they Look Great 3 years later ! Love the Copper wheel with patina back ground.
What’s next Gold plating? I guess I will always be partial to Chrome.
I think it looks great! Manufacturers providing more custom finish options is a good thing in my opinion. The extra cost of $200 is very reasonable for the cost of clear coating the wheel and hubs, assuming it is a very high quality clear.
I’m lazy, PVD or Powdercoat.
Phil,
Catch up, gold was enormous in the 70’s, thank you Brown;s Plating!!!
Nice
