Fantastic
Ditto, nice flick. But what has it got to do with “…reach the youngsters who grew up on the Internet, and turn this media into a source of new ideas and inspiration I would like to instill in them the notion that motorcycles and hot rods built by hand are still cool and relevant.”
It doesn’t even tell internet youngsters what a hot rod is, or about the custom building culture, craftsmanship, mechanics.
Kids under 30 years old today have no interest in even owning motorcycles or cars, let along building them from scratch, and they certainly don’t have the jobs and income to pay for them.
The few rich kids under 30 I do met at car and bike events events, if they do have the money and an interest in cars or bikes , they’ll spend it on a new BMW, Mustang, Camaro or Ducati and have it modified by a shop with bolt-on parts.
Unfortunately the custom building culture has no interrst for kids under 30 yars old.
Now that was cool. Motorcycles or not, those guys build some pretty cool stuff. I can admire anything built by hand that was fueled with passion. Thanks for sharing.
