Big crowd this weekend at the New York Javits Center for the International Motorcycle Show. On the Indian/Victory display, actor Mark Wahlberg (an Indian rider) stopped by to meet with the staff and photo opportunities with show visitors. (photos @ R. Pandya)
From top to bottom and left to right. 1- Mark Wahlberg with Indian/Victory NY staff. 2- Mark Walberg sitting on custom Scout built by John Shope from Dirty Bird Concepts. 3- With Steve Menneto, Vice President Polaris Motorcycles 4- With Karlee Cobb, Klock Werks. 5- With Robert Pandya, Indian Motorcycle External Relations Manager.
Instead of a smug comment – here what I would do with the Polaris Scout,

@domino
Wahlberg owns a 30,000 square foot mega-mansion in Beverly Park, adjacent to Beverly Hills.
I’d like to see Shope’s take on the Scout. Better picture please, Cryil.
@Sigfreed, nice.
Give the Englishman, above, one of these and let’s see what happens…….
Later Jay
It’s always good when hi profile people share their love of our industry. He was gracious enough to talk & pose with pictures. good for him
Just wondering if anyone saw any “white rubber” foot shifter covers? that protect (my brown engineer) boots from turning black on the left boot from shifting?
Anything like that seen at the Intl. NYC M/C Show? I’d like to know, but please don’t me to wrap blue-tape around the shifter, I’d like to keep the bike OEM. Thanx! 🙂

Sigfreed,
Yours is the best rendition of the Scout that I have seen thus far. Well done.
Does his Mother know he bought a bike?
Actually 3M edge-lock, blue tape does prevent boots from turning black.
Yep, it’s ugly, but that should create a market for a non-ugly replacement.
