Breaking News. Kendon Industries Motorcycle Stand-Up Trailers And Lifts Under New Ownership

kendon1bisKendon2Kendon Industries, Inc., the originator of the Stand-Up™ trailer concept and recognized as the industry leader in its category, received new private equity ownership and I hear plenty of new products are in the works.

Kendon is pleased to announce that it has established a funding source,” says Frank Esposito who remains as company president, a position to which he was appointed in January 2009. “This will allow the brand to react to an ever-increasing demand for Kendon Stand-Up™ Trailers and accessories.”

“Back in 1991 Tina and Ken Thurm started the company, their vision was to build the best motorcycle trailer on the market. Although Tina will be leaving to pursue other personal and professional interests I am very pleased that Ken will continue to consult with us on product design and manufacturing.”

Frank-EspositoKendon designs, manufacturers and sells a full line of Stand Up Motorcycle Trailers, ATV and UTV Trailers, Utility Trailers and Motorcycle maintenance Lifts. Kendon trailers take up as little as 27” of storage space from the wall when standing while their motorcycle lifts take up to only 17”. The company holds more than two dozen United States Patents on their products. Kendon’s complete line of trailers is designed and Made in America in Anaheim, California.

“We are very pleased to hear this exciting news from Kendon,” said Brian Berney, Vice President Global Supply Chain Group, Tucker Rocky/Biker’s Choice. “Tucker Rocky has been the distributor for Kendon products for more than 20 years and we have enjoyed the relationship, and providing their unique and market leading products to our dealers.” “We are looking forward to seeing the benefits of their newly expanded capabilities and investments,” adds Berney. “I’m sure the results will be very beneficial to our Dealers, not just in terms of increased service, but additional innovative new products in the future. This is good news indeed.” “Through the efforts of many, we are well poised to respond to the ever-increasing demand from our customers,” concludes Esposito. “This marks my seventh year with Kendon and I can say with utmost confidence that there is a very bright future Kendon in 2015”

I always liked their trailers. I wish they would go back to making the lifts in the USA.
