An Excellent Short Film Shot Behind The Walls Of Moto Borgotaro

Thanks God. In this excellent film you will not see again any sparks with shallow depth of field. No shots of riding gloves going on. This film is very different,  just like the builder and the bike. This seven-minute short follows the build-out of what Peter Boggia (Moto Borgotaro) calls his finest work, a recently released Moto Guzzi LeMans dubbed “Apollonia”. A unique film about a bike build, a veteran mechanic and his deep-seated love for 70s era motorcycles…and trashy Italian cinema. A builder whose salty and sincere personality shines through…A must watch. Directed by Roberto Serrini.

I liked this video. The “less is more” line resonated with me. I’m a Harley guy but I must admit Guzzies and dukes always “distract” me. There’s just something about them….

Like Richards I love Harley’s, but this bike is very impressive and I would love to ride it. Thanks for the video.

the video is awesome….but this is a custom bike website…”the exhaust is of a another bike..the seat is off another bike..” all parts off of late model or other bikes doesnt make it a custom..what did he actually build? oh yeah he “designed” the tach and speedo face…nice bike..nice movie..but when you bring your bike to the riding shots in the back of a truck with your fancy hat and rolling your own cigarettes??? dare to be different..lol

    Wow…!!
Never heard a Guzzi make that sound…. Awsome…!!!

    Regarding the part source…etc.
To me Its all about how things are made to fit and work together.

This one looks like it works…
So now lets see it “walk the walk”….. 🙂

Nice bike, nice film. No sparks, Cyril, but plenty of shallow DOF work nicely applied. Film maker did a good job matching the production style to the subject with his own unique style. Both the bike and the film have challenged the fan and moved things forward a click. And for what its worth (not much), I like that tach.
