One of the greatest motorcycles ever built. Jay does a interesting narration about it. More like this Cyril

Great video. Everyone should watch it. Jay conveys a lot of technical stuff and more important (for me) his emotional connection to the bike. I also learned the correct pronunciation of “Brough”.

Brilliant ! both the Beautiful Brough and Mr Leno sharing her with everybody.
He conveys his message as that of a MotorCyclist, not some stuffy historian.
    Well done that man !!

I have to say that Jay does a great job of introducing the bike to those who were not familiar with the marque. A gorgeous and important ride, it’s a shame that only someone with Leno’s money can afford to experience such a ride, the rest of us peons can only watch and drool. He is indeed a very lucky guy!

Nice to see a Brough actually being used… I’m not jealous honestly cos Jay is a proper petrolhead

There were a gaggle of Broughs up at Clouds Hill Cottage here in Dorset last week on the anniversary of Laurence’s death.

I’m lucky enough to see a few Broughs up on Poole Quays Bike Night including occasionally George III (Laurences 4th bike, 1924 and 3 owners!!- Laurence, the guy in Bovington who brought it direct from Laurence and Graham who brought it from him in the 70s for £2500! )

    Smell of Castrol R anyone?…..

Jay has made a slew of these videos on a number of the great bikes that he has Vincents, Indians, Hendersons, etc. Jeez, he has seven Broughs alone!

Good one Cyril! Thanks Jay, so great to see the old bikes in action. All of us love Leno’s Garage. So much wonderful entertainment, information, and good fun!

Thanks for sharing this. Jay’s video is a pleasant way to spend a few minutes.
Thought provoking quotes like; “Whip it like a mule”, and “it makes no sense, or mabey it makes all the sense in the world”, expressions worth recall. Thank you for your blog.

My favorite quote was the one at the beginning of the video:

A skittish motorbike with a touch of blood in it
is better than all the riding animals on the face of the earth
    – T. E. Lawrence (better known as Lawrence of Arabia)

    Interesting video.
Without its History motorcycling today would be far less interesting.

As a curiosity, Jay’s surprised discovery of “Bean-Oil” at this stage of his life makes ya wonder how long he has actually been involved in motorcycling….???
