Getting Old And Looking Better. Xzotic Generator Style Cam Cover Is An Exclusive Custom Chrome Europe.

1-Generator_Style_Cam_Cover2-Generator_Style_Cam_CoverNew old school. Neo retro style. Whatever the appellation, new fabricated parts mimicking those found on classic oem motorcycles is the new rage.

For those looking to add some soul to their modern Harley Twin Cam, this Xzotic Generator Style Cam Cover offered exclusively by Custom Chrome Europe is a very easy bolt-on.

The one-piece part mounts exactly as the stock Harley Cam Cover. Only an Allen head wrench is required to access the screws inside the “Generator Housing”. That’s it! The slotted screws are for aesthetic purpose, never touched nor stressed. You just re-use the factory screws to mount the new cam cover. Of course, you need to use a brand new gasket. (some custom exhaust systems can interfere with the cover) Fits all Twin Cam engines 00-15. At Custom Chrome Europe.

Along with their rocker covers, a perfect addition to a Heritage Softail…maybe add the EMD “tin” primary…no worse a faux dress-up exercise than fake flathead finning on some other motors…
Nothing really wrong with faux retro styling in a modern easy to use machine. I’ve had a ’71 Challenger and for everyday use I’d rather have a 2015 version.

Okay, so this fits/looks better than many we have seen … good business move because this will make money …
I hear you Sharkey, I like the retro styling of the Charger, Camaro, Mustang, and the idea of driving something “modern” appeals to me.
I like the styling of modern Bonneville’s and Commando’s. Heritage is OK. New Indian’s??
If I want a generator case looking bike, that is what I ride. Shovel? Pan? Then I will ride that. To put fake “old” covers on a “newer” bike just seems/looks so wrong to me.
Does anybody else here get what I am saying? Maybe I am just old…

p.s. current rides are 350Z, lowrider truck, FXR, flatbottom boat. All have styling changes, but look like what they are.

I get it. Should be the opposite Update the old bikes so you can ride them, ie. electronic ignition, alternators, tires etc. ..Z

Looks like no conventional late front pipe will fit – ?

    I’m with Domino here.

Love the retro nod going on in the auto industry, especially the Mustang and Charger looks.

But the retro covers for newer Harley bikes seems different somehow. Might be because the newer crowd may be going this route to actually deceive/pretend they have something authentically classic, rather than just the modern nod to the old style.

Is this another Joke of the Week?
